The Danville Police Department Presents 2nd Annual Cars & Community. Car Meet-Music-Vendors-Food trucks-Police & Fires- Tons of Family Fun on October 8th from 3-7 pm. The event is designed to bring community organizations and resources to the community through the draw of a car show. A UVA Cancer Center Community Outreach and Engagement team member plans to attend to provide cancer prevention and early detection resources for the community. The Ballou Recreation Center presents the Fall Senior Expo Fair on November 3rd from 10 am to 2 pm in Danville, Va. Over 30 vendors will be on-side to share senior resources related to health, wellness, insurance, community services, and more. A UVA Cancer Center Community Outreach Team Member will be on site for resources and education
