After my completion of education and residency, I entered private practice in Newport News Virgina from 1978-1986. I Transitioned to academic Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986 when I became Director of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and maintain that positon to the present as an Associate Professor. I am a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia adjunct faculty. I also have a private practice in Oral surgery at Hollymead Dental Arts.
