Megan Abrams, PA-C, spent most of her childhood in Virginia. She completed her undergraduate degree at Christopher Newport University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in chemistry and psychology. She later attended East Carolina University where she obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Since becoming a physician assistant, she has worked in general orthopaedic surgery before joining the spine surgery team here at UVA in October 2020.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and 2 dogs. You can often find them kayaking, hiking, or enjoying many other outdoor activities that Charlottesville has to offer
