Pediatric Anesthesiology

Find Out More!

Pediatric anesthesiologists are specialists who help manage the medical care of your child before, during, and after surgery. They make sure your child is properly anesthetized (unconscious), if necessary, and continue to monitor vital signs throughout the procedure.

Pediatric anesthesiologists also work to prevent and manage any pain during a procedure. They play a key role in deciding when your child is ready to go home or can be moved to a recovery area.
