Quote: (about matching with UVA): I fell in love with Charlottesville and the UVA PM&R residency program as a fourth year during my away rotation. I was very impressed with the program’s strengths in sports, EMG, and didactic education. As an active runner, I was drawn to the UVA runner’s clinic, and loved my opportunities to cover cross country events with Dr. Wilder and the residents. The whole department’s welcoming, friendly atmosphere also left a strong impression on me. The Charlottesville area is what sealed the deal; the beautiful nature and hiking, the fantastic array of restaurants, as well as the unique shops, historic sites, and general exciting academic atmosphere of the town. I knew that I would be happy living here and feel incredibly fortunate and excited to begin my training at UVA PM&R.
