Hobbies: Playing music (guitar, piano, and/or vocals), playing tennis, exercising, finding new things to try, and keeping up with all things football!

To start, as a former football player who is interested in sports medicine (among many other aspects of the field!), I think the curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities here are unparalleled for my interests and goals. Additionally, from the first time I met UVA residents at the 2019 AAPMR conference, to the multiple pandemic-adapted virtual info sessions, through my interview day and beyond, every resident, faculty, and staff member has been kind, welcoming, down-to-earth, and supportive. Based on my time interacting with them I could tell Virginia would have a superb and collegial work atmosphere. Finally, the Charlottesville area is absolutely beautiful. As someone who has lived his entire life around the swamps of south Louisiana, I am looking forward to exploring the town, seeing the scenic mountains, experiencing the changing seasons, having some cooler summers, and even getting a fair share of snow!
