We talked about doing journal clubs at the first meeting, and David and I liked the idea so much that we’re gonna do one! Amazing!
I’ve attached two articles that sort of talk about and present issues pertaining to GLTBQ issues in health care: the Colorado study I mentioned which is more data based and then an opinion piece from JAMA about blood donation. The goal for our first journal clubs is A) to hang out and B) to start talking and thinking about the issues facing queer people in healthcare. Later journal clubs can get more sciency if we want.
