Description/Learning Objectives: This training session will focus on how to get reporters interested in your story as well as how to prepare for an interview so you are happy with the resulting coverage. By the end of the learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss getting reporters interested in speaking with them
  • Describe ways to develop their message for an interview
  • List tips and strategies for preparing for an interview
  • 1 CME credit

The University of Virginia School of Medicine and School of Nursing maintains a record of participation for six (6) years.
