2024 Trainee Diversity & Inclusion Conference

Bridging Home and Health: Mobilizing Healthcare in the Fight against Housing Insecurity

The Sixth Annual Trainee Diversity and Inclusion Conference theme is Bridging Home and Health. We aim to not only illuminate the inequities present in the surrounding communities we serve but also to equip students, trainees, faculty, and all healthcare workers with tools to provide optimal care. We are honored to have exceptional community and UVA Health System panelists, a housing and advocacy plenary, and a keynote speaker from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) dedicated to implementing successful programming that improves access to affordable housing and directly impacts health outcomes. We hope this conference will provide you all with a new perspective and be a catalyst for intentional change.

This conference is free and designed for medical students, GME trainees, GME faculty, UVA Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, UVA staff, and interested healthcare providers!
