The meetings include a 30-40 minute meditation or sitting that is sometimes guided. After a short break, the evening’s teacher will present a dharma
talk (dharma means “teaching”) that addresses different facets of meditation practice including how to bring the heart of meditation into our daily life. After the talk, we have an informal discussion and questions.
A Place to Breathe Meditation Studio : 4405 Ivy Commons (Rt. 250 West, beside Duner’s)
A Place to Breathe offers classes in meditation, yoga, and other mindful practices for adults and children. In addition to their classes and workshops, they offer a private meditation room that is open during business hours for anyone to use free of charge.
