Recent Achievements
- May 16, 2023: Ju Hee Ahn, MD; Marcus Hook, MD; and Zachary Swenson, MD will present a poster, “Hyperechoic renal parenchyma in neonates and young infants” at the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR) Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.
- February 2, 2023: Luke Wilkins, MD delivered the 2023 Ben Anderson Endowed Lecture at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare in Tempe, Arizona.

- Luke Wilkins, MD delivered the 2023 Ben Anderson Endowed Lecture at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare in Tempe, Arizona, on February 2, 2023.
- Kirkland Davis, MD recently co-authored a paper, “Rationale for fluoroscopic guidance in spine injections,” which was published in Skeletal Radiology in September 2022.
- Kirkland Davis, MD recently co-authored a paper, “US for Traumatic Nerve Injury, Entrapment Neuropathy, and Imaging-Guided Perineural Injection,” which was published in Radiographics in July 2022.

The UVA Radiology Keynote Lecture Series brings experts and thought leaders from across the globe to the department for lectures and discussions on major topics in radiology and medicine.
These lectures are designed to provide unique insights, stimulate discussion and offer critical resources for further learning. Keynote Lectures are open to the entire UVA Health community as well as radiologists and care providers across the world.
Mechanics of Academics
Mechanics of Academics is a series of presentations designed to help UVA Radiology faculty and trainees at all stages of their careers develop building blocks for academic and professional growth. They are delivered by faculty members and experts in the Radiology department and across UVA Health. Though some presentations are specifically focused on navigating aspects of a career in radiology, many are applicable to physicians working in any department or discipline.
