Research Description

Stochastic Network Calculus: Theory and Tools for the Analysis of Future Networks and Applications (NSF-CNS-0435061), which seeks to develop analytical tools for probabilistically characterizing throughput and delay for computer networks.

Wireless Internet Center for Advanced Technology-WICAT (an NSF sponsored Industry-University research center), which addresses issues of information management in ad hoc wireless sensor networks, particularly in scenarios where individual sensors have the discretion to forward information to peer groups on depending on the interests/roles of various receiver groups and features associated with sensor observations.

Econometric Models for Impacts of Technology in Healthcare (NSF-SGER-0728764), which seeks to develop models that that can predict or explain technology adoption decisions relating to the use of wireless communications technology in the monitoring and treatment of chronic diseases. He has published more than forty research articles and has given numerous research presentations.
