Hello! I grew up outside of New York City before coming down to the wonderful city of Charlottesville for undergrad.  After graduating in 2007, I took a year off and moved back up to New York City to work at an HIV Clinic.  When applying to medical school I knew that I was interested in primary care and wanted to find a school that supported the field.  I was thrilled to return to U.Va. the following year for med school and join the Generalist Scholars Program.  The mentorship from GSP has been incredible, and through it I have discovered my interest women’s health and reproductive rights.  The support of both GSP faculty and students has been wonderful and some of my closest friends are fellow students in the program.   I am currently a 4th year medical student planning on going into family medicine.   In my spare time out of the hospital I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and dog outside – hiking, exploring the breweries and vineyards and eating all the delicious food Charlottesville has to offer.  Don’t hesitate to email me at chm4q@virginia.edu if you have any questions!
