Student Researcher
Testing and validating the potential use, the efficacy and safety for FDA approval of:
• CD34-negative fraction of human non-hematopoietic umbilical cord blood stem cells
in treating stroke patients.
• Targeting primary and metastatic brain tumors utilizing Zika Virus.
Investigating potential targets for COVID-19 vaccination and the potential use of human
non-hematopoietic umbilical cord blood stem cells in treating COVID-19 patients.

• Conducted independent research projects using human adipose-derived stem cells as a
model by identifying, characterizing, and manipulating epigenetic pathways.
• Designed and executed experiments using epigenetic methods of analysis and high
throughput sequencing technologies.
• Analyzed and interpreted experimental results to determine the direction of future
experiments.
