Susan Kim, MD
Hello! I was born and raised in the greater Seattle area then moved to upstate New York to complete my undergraduate education at Syracuse University. Before starting medical school at Tufts, I took several gap years, during which time I worked for a global health non-profit, then was a project manager for a medical scribing company. I was fortunate enough to spend my dedicated research years here at UVA in the Tsung-Zhang lab, and am grateful to be staying to complete surgical training. Outside of the hospital, I have an active yoga practice (I’m a registered teacher!), and enjoy cooking, annoying my two kittens (Roscoe and Paisley), and spending time outdoors.
