Update 5/12/17: Benjamin Andre is training to become an emergency medical technician over the summer of 2017, and hopes to volunteer in the Charlottesville area as an EMT over the next couple of years. He will also be volunteering in the Oncology Department in the University of Virginia Medical Center over the summer and during the next academic year.
Benjamin André is a third year undergraduate student majoring in psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is fascinated by the neurological aspect of psychology and hopes to one day go into medicine in that field. He is currently a UIP intern working on various aspects of SHUTi, mysmartskin, and UV4.me, hoping to gain an understanding on how technology and the internet can be applied to medicine in an age where they are becoming increasingly more relevant. In his spare time he enjoys performing musical theatre and going on skiing and scuba diving vacations with his family.
