Josephine (Josie) Chiao is a second-year University of Virginia student pursuing a B.A. in Computer Science. After taking a human-computer interaction course, she discovered an interest in the application of cognitive psychology in technology, particularly in web design and development. She’s excited to gain experience in designing intuitive web systems through the BHT’s various internet intervention projects. Her interests outside of technology include graphic design, baking, and studying East Asian languages.
