Emily Geyer is a cognitive science major starting her third year at the University of Virginia. She heard about BHT through University Internship Programs and is currently working on the CARRII study. Outside of BHT, Emily is a substitute teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools and a bus driver for University Transit Services at UVA. She also loves horseback riding and enjoys dancing as a member of the UVA salsa club. Emily is interested in helping people through research and animal-assisted therapy, and she plans to pursue graduate studies in psychology.
