Joseph is a 2nd year student at the University of Virginia majoring in Chemical Engineering. He joined the Center for Behavioral Health and Technology in Spring 2019 as a volunteer research assistant. As someone who struggled with ADHD from a young age, he is passionate about helping those who think differently, and strongly believes that computerized interventions can not only increase accessibility in various fields of healthcare, but also improve the care itself. Joseph hopes to attend medical school after he graduates. When not busy with school work, he enjoys making others smile, and occasionally dabbles in playing the ukulele.
