Josh Magee is completing his clinical internship year at the University of Illinois-Chicago Department of Psychiatry, and will receive his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in 2010. His research examines user characteristics that may influence usage and outcome in Internet interventions, such as parental worry or excessive variability in sleep symptoms.
Josh is also interested in cognitive processing in anxiety, with a primary focus on lifespan differences in responses to intrusive thoughts. Josh is from Columbus, Ohio originally, and completed his undergraduate training with degrees in psychology and sociology from Northwestern University. He is recently married, and is looking forward to a coming year of married life, Ohio State football games, and great Chicago food.
