Ginsberg, Rebecca

Rebecca Ginsberg is currently a pre-doctoral intern at the University of Virginia’s Counseling and Psychological Services. As part of her internship she is completing a summer rotation in the department of Behavioral Health and Technology. Her research interests have been varied throughout graduate school, but have largely been focused on eating disorders and body image dissatisfaction.

Rebecca graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Carleton College in 1999. She worked for several years in the psychiatry department at the University of Minnesota before receiving her M.A. in psychology from American University in 2005. She will receive her doctorate from American University in August 2009. Her clinical training is primarily in a University setting, and she enjoys working with university students in multiple capacities. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dog, playing in lakes, cooking (occasionally) and running (slowly).
