Christopher Luminais, MD
Chris is currently a first year resident in the Radiation Oncology program. He was born and raised in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate he attended Princeton University where he studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Neuroscience. Chris graduated from medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in 2017 and completed his Internship at UVA in 2018.
Chris was drawn to the field of Radiation Oncology because he finds the combination of close patient relationships with cutting edge science and technology to be extremely rewarding. As a medical student Chris completed a visiting rotation at UVA and he is excited to return to UVA for residency. In his free time his interests include hiking, kayaking, cooking, photography, and spending time with his wife.
