The Consumer Health Education Institute
(CHEDI)

CHEDI is based in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.  Initial funding for CHEDI is provided by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Virginia .  This organization includes experts in instructional technology, education, medicine, survey research, clinical informatics, marketing, psychology, and research and evaluation.  Our interdisciplinary effort relies on partnerships with industry as well as active collaboration with academic units throughout the University of Virginia.
