Diversity in Cancer Research Internship

American Cancer Society logo

We are thankful to the American Cancer Society’s support for the UVA DiCR program.

DiCR is a paid, 10-week summer internship for undergraduate students interested in cancer research from groups that are underrepresented in the science and health professions because of race, ethnicity, gender, disability status, and/or because of having a disadvantaged background. Participants will be embedded in research groups at the UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center to gain experience in the biomedical sciences and learn about careers in the field.
