Community outreach event providing cancer screening navigation services and spreading general cancer screening awareness.
The purpose of these bi-weekly (every two weeks) events is to advance community engagement and health equity for all. At Fifeville Health Station, residents can receive free blood-pressure and blood-sugar checkups, get help accessing their cancer screenings, as well as take home fresh produce via a pay-what-you-can farm stand.

To provide health, legal, and community services to community members who are returning from incarceration. COE will be providing cancer screening navigation services and connecting attendees with local resources.
Free Screenings and Information on insurance, medicare, heart health, massage, yoga, home health, and more. UVACC COE will be in attendance for cancer-related information and navigation. The next quarterly SWVA CAB Meeting is Thursday, October 17, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
This meeting will be virtual and include subcommittee breakout sessions.
