If you have already seen another provider for this problem, please obtain all medical records (including operative reports) and copies of imaging studies prior to evaluation.  Bring these with you at the time of initial consultation.  In addition, your treating provider may fax a consultation request and documentation to help facilitate expedited review of your case.   This is especially important for cases that may require urgent surgery, including some tendon ruptures and fractures or dislocations.
