The next quarterly SWVA CAB Meeting is Thursday, May 30th, 10 am -2 pm at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, Room 222
This in-person meeting will provide a virtual option. A lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.

The event intends to provide a one stop shop of various types of resources (including health) for community members, specifically community members that have been previously incarcerated.
Juneteenth event with Straight Street. At Buckingham County Schools, 40 Frank Harris Road, Dillwyn, VA from 11-4. Plan for Mobile Mammography, Every Womans Life Program, Cancer Screening Navigation Services.
Teaching sunbeatables to grades 2-5 at Enderly Elementary School’s summer camp program.
Resource fair for community population re-entering society. Numerous community partners will be participating.
Providing cancer screening navigation services with monthly educational focus on certain cancer types and/or cancer prevention information.
Stay in the Game Charlottesville Kickoff promoting prostate cancer screening and prevention.
