Applications for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship are accepted through ERAS.  Recruitment will begin in July 2025 for the 2026-27 academic year.

Trainees are granted 3 weeks of vacation each year.

BLOCK SCHEDULE SAMPLES

The sequence across each year for an individual resident will be assigned by the Training Director. No particular sequence is required or preferred. Rotation experiences may change as the program evolves and new opportunities present.

Year II CAP Block Schedule

Percentages refer to approximate time allocated to the rotation during each 6-month block. Experiences are longitudinal and may last different lengths between 3 and 12 months.

Elective opportunities include parent-child attachment clinic, pediatric autism, additional child neurology, graduate MPH courses (statistics, epidemiology, etc.) basic neuroscience lab, professional practice exploration or research.

Institutionally, we sponsor the J1 clinical visa. All graduates of international medical schools must hold a valid certificate issued by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) to be appointed as a resident or fellow, following the ACGME and VA Board of Medicine requirements.
