CL Fellowship Application Information

APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR IN JULY OF 2025.

Applicants must sign-in to the MyERAS application portal where they will create a personal statement, identify at least 3 people to submit Letters of Reference (including one from current Program Director documenting training completed.) Other required items include Dean’s letter (MSPE) and medical school transcript, USMLE transcript, and photo.

You must complete an ACGME-accredited 4-year Psychiatry Residency in order to qualify for the University of Virginia’s Consultation-Liaison Fellowship.

We also encourage applicants to join the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP) if they have not already.
