Hi! Thanks for your interest in UVA and our residents 🙂 I’m Grayson. I grew up a little all over the place, moving from NC to MO to MD to NC (again) and now am very happy in VA. During my undergrad years at UMD, I spent a few semesters in a lab doing research on antibiotic resistance before transitioning to healthcare outcomes-based clinical research. I discovered my love of pathology while at medical school, where I was also lucky enough to meet my partner who is currently completing his internal medicine residency. I’m a big fan of indie games, Ethel Cain, coffee flavor, and my cat.
