Hi, I’m Sarah! I grew up in south Louisiana and stayed there for college and medical school before making my way up to Virginia for residency.

I was first introduced to the idea of pathology in high school, and my interest grew after studying cell biology in college. In medical school, I was super excited to gain real exposure to the field and confirm that I had found the right specialty for me:). I can’t wait to spend my time here at UVA getting to experience all that this field has to offer with my co-residents and our amazing faculty.

Outside of pathology, I love reading (literally every genre), hiking, visiting national parks, cross-stitch, trivia, and hanging out with my fiancé, Victor, and our dog, June!
