Physics Boot Camp
Our annual 1 week course in practical physics for the clinical radiation oncologist was held again this summer!
The course includes 5 sessions of a 45-60 minute classroom based lecture, followed by a hands-on “physics lab”. The goal of Physics Boot Camp is to provide our residents and medical students with practical skills and foundational insights to jump into a clinical practice in Radiation Oncology – in essence a “How Things Work in Rad Onc” kick-starter course.
We’ve included an overview of the Boot Camp Labs with all of the proprietary slides removed.
Please contact ej8t@uvahealth.org for more information if you’re interested in virtually attending Physics Boot Camp next year!
