Rotations and Electives

Clinical Rotations

Our residents are required to complete at least 36 months of clinical rotations during their 4 year residency. Clinical rotations include time spent with Dr. Larner, Dr. Read, Dr. Showalter, Dr. Janowski, Dr. Romano, Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Luminais at UVA Cancer Center and Dr. Khandelwal at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center.

Electives

Our residents have elective months every year, starting in PGY-2, to complete research or other interests. Residents are required to take one month of Physics/Dosimetry, one month of Gamma Knife, and occasionally one month of Nuclear Medicine.
