Hobbies/Outside Interests: I enjoy playing all sports (soccer, basketball, table tennis, bowling, volleyball). I love to read historical fiction and fantasy. I spend time fantasizing about what type of dog my fiancee and I will get in the near future. I really enjoy spending time with my co-residents as well as my childhood friends that stayed around the area
Favorite things to do in Charlottesville: I love going to Wing Wednesdays with my colleagues. Specifically at the Lazy Parrot. I frequent Meadowcreek Golf course and occasionally venture to other courses around the area. The restaurants are quite niche and tasty. The downtown mall is a great place to stroll and has some fun things to do in the summer
Why did you choose UVA? I chose UVA because I wanted to come out of resident being confident in my skills and become a compassionate anesthesiologist who can handle sick cases and take my experiences to make difficult decisions.
Anesthesiology Interests: I am interested in interventional pain medicine, cardiac anesthesiology, mechanical support devices, and utilizing metrics to improve education and feedback.
What’s the best piece of career advice you ever got?: Work diligently for your patients
