Favorite things about/to do/to eat in Charlottesville: On my weekends off in Charlottesville I enjoy visiting nearby vineyards with friends, floating the Rivanna river, or going out to dinner at many of the amazing restaurants (my top 3 favorites are: The local, Public Fish and Oyster, and Tavola). I also love how central Charlottesville is close to some of my favorite activities (New River Gorge, WV for rock climbing, Virginia beach, or visiting DC).
Why did you choose UVA?: What drew me to UVA was the collegiality and closeness of the anesthesiology residents, the strength of the anesthesiology training, the ability to conduct engineering/technology research, and the vicinity to outdoor activities (i.e. mountains, ocean).
Anesthesiology Interests: Critical Care, Research
Favorite Rotation: Surgical Trauma ICU
