Favorite things about/to do/to eat in Charlottesville: Multiple golf courses are close by and accessible, amazing hiking in the Blue Ridge, plenty of wineries nearby are great spots to hang out with friends, and lots of food choices (best is Tavola, an Italian restaurant in Belmont).

Why did you choose UVA? The things I love about UVA and Charlottesville are the proximity to outdoor activities, exceptional training in Regional and Cardiac, an amazing Intern year and Intro to anesthesia, exposure to all subspecialties before CA-2 year, and a friendly OR environment with wonderful co-residents.
