Hobbies/Outside Interests: I enjoy playing with my toddler, making charcuterie boards, hiking, watching trash tv (Bravo Bravo Bravo), and gardening.

Favorite things about/to do/to eat in Charlottesville: We love all of the playgrounds and splash pads for our kiddo. It’s a quick drive to just about anything you would want to do. Yummy food and lots of wineries

Why did you choose UVA? I really enjoyed talking with my interviewers and loved how the residents interacted with one another during the zoom social. It seemed like people genuinely enjoyed working with one another at UVA. The breadth of cases and the ability to do difficult cases early on was also a big deciding factor.

Anesthesiology Interests: My anesthesiology interests include high-value care/QI, POCUS, and critical care.

Favorite Rotation: I’m a few months into intern year as I write this, so I have only done general OR anesthesia so far.

What’s the best piece of career advice you ever got?: Have a child whenever its best for your family because there will never be an easy time in medicine!
