Favorite things about/to do/to eat in Charlottesville: We have a great, diverse farmer’s market every Saturday. I love starting the day with a Mudhouse coffee, buying my fresh produce for the week, and then checking out the local record store for any new vinyl.
Why did you choose UVA? The quality of our training. We’re given a lot of graduated autonomy throughout residency, and the minimal intraoperative fellows means we do a lot of complex cases as residents.
Anesthesiology Interests: Regional anesthesia and global health
Favorite Rotation: My favorite rotation is Pediatric Anesthesiology.
What’s the best piece of career advice you ever got?: Constantly check in with yourself; reflect on what is important to you at that time and use that to set your boundaries with work.
