Why did you choose UVA? The curriculum is what stood out to me. Not many places will allow interns to be in the OR for 6 months actually doing anesthesia.

Anesthesiology Interests: Chronic pain, CT, pediatrics

Favorite Rotation: I’ve only been on 2 rotations so far, so I can’t pick a favorite just yet.

What’s the best piece of career advice you ever got?: Find a mentor! Mentors will help you get to where you need to be in your career, introduce you to their colleagues so you can build your network, and give you encouragement during the rough times.
