Favorite things about/to do/to eat in Charlottesville: Exploring Shenandoah and other trails around. I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by the variety of restaurants. My favorites so far have been Al Carbon and Roots.

Why did you choose UVA? I wanted to be at a program where I felt I would learn a lot but at the same time, my family and I would feel supported beyond the clinical training. So far this has definitely been the case. Everyone I’ve interacted with across the organization has been incredibly welcoming, approachable, and well trained which to me creates an ideal learning environment. My wife and I feel very welcomed here and we can’t wait to continue to get to know everyone in and outside of the hospital.
