Why did you choose UVA? This department encourages a culture of mutual respect between the faculty and residents, which creates an environment in which trainees will thrive naturally. I’ve watched a few classes of anesthesia residents graduate from this program as thoughtful, knowledgeable, and very competent physicians. It never occurred to me to train anywhere else.
