Visiting Medical Student Scholarship
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is very pleased to be able to offer up to four $1500 scholarships to help defray the cost of travel and housing to accepted students visiting for an ACE rotation from other medical schools.
Our UVA Graduate Medical Education Office offers an exceptional Leadership Program and funds one of these financial scholarships when an applicant is accepted into their Leadership Program. The Dept of Orthopaedic Surgery funds an additional three $1500 scholarships from these applications. In addition to the financial scholarship Orthopaedic Surgery provides, if there is room you may be invited to join the Leadership Program.
