Hi! My name is Michael, and I am one of the preliminary general surgery residents who will be going into anesthesiology next year. I grew up in the greater Los Angeles area and went to college at UCLA before moving across the country for medical school at UVA. I’m happy to be staying at UVA for my intern year! My co-residents and faculty are some of the most welcoming and supportive people I’ve ever met.
