I am happy to return to Charlottesville for my surgery training as I very much enjoyed my time here during undergrad. I took some gap years after graduating and received my M.S. from EVMS. I grew up outside of Richmond in a small town called Rockville and was fortunate to attend VCU for medical school. I am extremely grateful to have such wonderful options for training in Virginia and feel especially lucky to be here. I am excited to train with the excellent physicians at UVA and know that they will set me up for success in becoming an academic surgeon. Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, reading, and sports.
