Welcome to UVA! Im originally from Durham, NC. I grew up doing springboard/platform diving and ballet, and continued dancing through my college years at Duke University. Between college and medical school I worked as an anesthesia tech for two years and then for an international NGO in the US and Switzerland. I attended medical school at the University of Central Florida and am now delighted to be continuing my training in general surgery at UVA. Ultimately I’d like to pursue a fellowship in pediatric surgery. I have loved living in Charlottesville and am enjoying all the great food, hiking, and wineries this town has to offer!
