I’m originally from California, but moved to Maryland as a teenager. I grew up dancing, reading, baking, and spending time in nature. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, College Park, and then moved up to the University of Maryland, Baltimore for medical school. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to complete my general surgery training at UVA because of the excellent surgical experience, innovative research, and the wonderful people and culture here. In my free time I love to cook, read, spend time with my pets and partner, and explore Charlottesville and the outdoors.
