I am a proud Nigerian-American who grew up in Union, NJ. I went to Rutgers University for undergrad and the University of Southern California for medical and business school.

I am currently interested in pediatric surgery and surgical oncology. I am also committed to increasing diversity, inclusion and equity in medicine and business. My business interests include healthcare strategic innovation, healthcare delivery and patient safety.

You can get great surgical training at many programs, but UVA has not only an amazing surgical experience but fantastic residents and faculty.

Outside of clinical work, I love to cook and bake which stems from years of family bonding while cooking with my mother and grandmother. When I am not enjoying a great meal, I also enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, discovering new Afropop or R&B artists, and traveling.
