EPIC and PACS

Most students use https://portal.uvahealth.virginia.edu and those instructions are linked below. The Health System provides and supports this service, so make sure you use your Health System password when you log in.

Accessing Epic Remotely through UVA Health Apps Portal

In the event this method does not work for you, there are other ways to access Epic, including installing a Health System VPN.

Most students will access imaging from within EPIC so they will not need to access PACS directly.

If you need to access PACS directly from your personal computer, you will need to run the health system VPN. Start the VPN and then access it using this link – https://pacsvm.hscs.virginia.edu/
