Vocera – paging

Many clinical departments at UVA use Vocera for paging team members on clinical rotations during the clerkship and post-clerkship phases. The health system will issue licenses to students when requested.

  • Students can request a license form the “AMP” system here – https://amp.hscs.virginia.edu (health system credentials when prompted for login)
  • Request “Vocera” from drop-down
  • Role = “Vocera User with Paging (PIC)”

The “AMP” system will typically route requests for access to the supervisor indicated on the form for approval.

The MobileIron device manager is a prerequisite for Vocera; so, start with MobileIron while your request for Vocera is being processed.
