Aviva Friedman, MD

Hello, my name is Aviva. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Humanistic Studies at McGill University followed by a postbac at UVA. Aviva attended medical school at Ben-Gurion University/Medical School for International Health in the sunny desert of Israel. I have vast and varied interests in medicine, including women’s/reproductive health, refugee and global health, public health and advocacy, and much more. For fun, I  love to bake, sometimes competitively, and I maintain a popular instagram account of my cat, Cashew.
